Best Online Casino Strategy: Protect Yourself
23 June 2026

Aristotle International and the National Council on Problem Gambling are partnered up to create a new international self-exclusion database (GSED for problem gamblers at online casino sites). The new technology uses an age and ID-verification system brand known as Integrity. GSED is a confidential and secure database of individuals who have chosen to exclude themselves from gambling at online casinos and other gambling establishments. The new service for online casino players will be accessible from the National Council on Problem Gambling's website as well as on the home page of Aristotle International.

Online casinos may offer free games, bonuses, and convenient access, but players should consider safety and responsible gambling before joining. Check that a site uses secure account protections, explains its terms clearly, and provides practical tools for setting limits or taking a break. If gambling stops feeling like entertainment, self-exclusion can help create distance from participating platforms. A centralized database may make that process easier by allowing people to request a ban across multiple participating sites. Learn about safer play options through casino-bad-homburg.com, and remember that free games are best treated as practice rather than a promise of future winnings.

Currently, responsible gambling databases that list compulsive and problem gamblers are not managed centrally. This means that different online casino operate their own lists, which means that a player who wishes to register as a problem gambler may have to do so with multiple online casinos. The new technology is expected to be used by many of the online casinos and poker rooms that display the eCOGRA "Play It Safe" seal.

To register on the GSED, a player must identify himself and select from the options of a one-year, five-year or lifetime ban at online casinos. Applicants cannot remove themselves from the list prior to dates they have selected. If a player whose name is on the list attempts to open an account with participating online casinos, they will be denied access. The technology has been well received in the online gaming industry and is expected to help combat rising levels of compulsive gambling.

Free Online Casino Offers Many Additions

In every day life, the phrase “there’s no free lunch” rings true, but with free online casinos it actually doesn’t apply. On the contrary, there are numerous player additions that you can receive while you are playing at free online casinos and you might even have a greater possibility of winning. One reason for this is that the casino software or set of programs is free. Another reason is that some free online casinos offer a free bonus just for joining the casino. Free online casinos, therefore, do have a lot to offer. Just be sure to first do your footwork in order to learn what is out there.

Before the rise of online gambling, when bricks and mortar casinos were the only types of casinos available, there wasn’t much in the way of ‘something for nothing’ deals. With the onset of online gambling, however, and its growing rate of popularity, online casino operators are making increasing efforts to attract and keep players. One way they accomplish this is by letting visitors to their site play for free. While playing for free at a bricks and mortar Las Vegas casino would be highly irregular, it is the norm when it comes to online casinos.

Online casinos also offer free casino software. Players may download the software for free or they can simply choose to play flash games (that require no downloading) for free. Many online casinos also allow players to join the casino for free – another attractive feature. Finally, online casinos usually offer a free set of instructions and advice on how to play a game. Players can choose from free games such as blackjack, craps (a game requiring two dice), poker, roulette, and slots. With the free games, players may not receive any money (or lose any money) but they are given a great opportunity to develop and practice their gambling techniques.

Cheating Online Casinos

Online Casinos aren’t as vulnerable as they look. Having this site and being a pretty active member of the community, I’ve pretty much heard and seen it all. I’ve been asked to hack into banks, into governments, and just about every other thing you can imagine. I was having a beer with a good friend of mine a year or so ago, and he mentioned that a friend of his was juiced in with the Thai mob. Basically this guy had been recruited into it to help them cheat casinos (essentially he got caught by the Thai guys and in exchange for his kneecaps he got to help them out - and a healthy paycheck to keep a smile on his face). They had chosen a really low-tech route by getting a whole bunch of really talented players, stuffing them in a room and paying them to play poker and win all day. Wow, that sucks.

So my buddy, being the computer guru that he is, and also a professional gambler, gave his buddy a few helpful tips on how to succeed, by using proxies, clearing cache and cookies, blah blah. Then he went on to tell me how he would write an AI bot to do detection of the cards on the screen and automatically play for you. My friend is smart. My friend is also unaware of Online Casino security. So here’s how it works, for anyone who wants to avoid getting caught.

First, online casinos are not automated completely. There are indeed humans behind the wheel. If they see something that looks “robotish” they will intercept the user with a dialogue box to get human interaction. With this information they can tell if you are a robot or not. Okay, so what if you had a human nearby who could monitor the screens and respond if something like that happened? Well, eventually if you win too much, just like any Casino in real life, they reserve the right to kick your ass out as a suspected cheater. No problem, just log in as a different user, right?

Wrong…. My friend had the right idea about clearing cookies, and cache, blah blah. The part that he got wrong was that he didn’t know about the OTHER things these systems to do your computer. The Casinos put a piece of software in the Java clients that they ask you to download that map your computer’s hardware. If you come from the same machine twice, even as different users on the machine, despite using proxies, or what have you, they’ll still see you as the same user. Okay, so let’s just bounce around to another Casino, right?

Wrong…. That same software is logging to a centralized database that more and more Casinos are buying into. That software stores all of your hardware specs remotely. When Casino “A” kicks you out for being a cheater, Casino “B” will see you are coming in as a suspected cheater and that Casino “A” that they know and trust has blacklisted your computer. In this way, they are able to keep tabs on you as you move from Casino to Casino. Eventually this could end up being much more virulant softare that does a lot more than just mapping your drive and having a blacklist flag. But that’s a ways out, and giving customer information to competitors has never been a good business model for Casinos.

Are there ways around it? Sure, VMware sounds like a fantastic idea… the problem with virtual machines is that they almost always end up looking the same. Changing your hardware specs doesn’t really help too much, unless you change more than a certain percentage. They store as much information as possible and if they see one datapoint that doesn’t match they are fuzzy enough with their logic to detect that the user is probably the same. Are they logging in other ways? Well, almost definitely (although I have no definitive evidence of this), but those logging mechanisms are probably worth another post.

Is this all spyware? No, it’s DRM. They reserve the right to know that you have a licensed copy of their Java client.

Sorry, cheating online casinos just isn’t that easy anymore. That’s probably why the low-tech route that the Thai mob is using is probably the most lucrative oddly enough.

Testing an Online Casino

In the past, going to the casino meant flying to Las Vegas or driving to a hotel that has these facilities. Nowadays, this has changed. The person can do it all in the comforts of home while sitting down in front of the computer.

Online casinos have been around for some time. The games are almost complete to what can be found in the land-based casino. The rules in some of the games may be different but it is still with the same objective and that is to win some money.

There are two things needed to play in an online casino. The first is a computer with an internet connection. The other is the software program which can be downloaded from the casinos website or participating on it on live feed.

There are a lot of sites in the internet that can offer an online casino so looking it up in the internet is a start. Not all these sites are legitimate. Some are scams that are there to steal money from unsuspecting victims. Others put it up with a virus that can cause damage to the computer.

Not all these online sites are bad. There are also that people can play in safely. The only hitch is that some of these sites have rules that are not favorable to the player and some are. To be able to get to the good sites, doing some research and asking friends who also do this can help.

Another thing about online sites is about the payments. Some sites return the winnings immediately while there are those that don’t.

Sites that do this think that the longer the person plays; the chances of the player losing it are higher so that the site does not lose any money.

There are some sites that don’t offer free trials. Since it is hard to tell if that website is worth playing in, asking around can give the person an idea.

Those that offer free trials offer other games as well. That way, the person will know if it is a good site or not. There are a lot in the web to choose from and should the person like several, then there is no harm in playing in all of them. The player has to be sure there is money that can be used to enjoy the online casino.

Before playing, it is best to set a budget for the game. Should the person win or lose, that should be enough. Some people who are doing very well can get greedy and that could be a problem. If the person loses a lot, the problem of paying the huge amount is something that is hard to get out of.

Online casinos just like the real ones are all about having a little fun. This doesn’t have to happen daily and should only be done if the player has time. There are other things that people have to address such as a regular job and engaging in other activities.

The computer age has changed how gambling used to be. It has taken the casino from hotels right there to one’s doorstep. Some online casinos give bonuses for new players in the form of credit and bonuses that will give the person more money to play the games. An incentive that is hard to resist.

Online Casino Free Cash Bonus Means Sometimes No Money At All

Giving away online casino bonuses by casino operators seems to be the easiest way to attract gamblers. There are many types of bonuses out there - match bonuses (or sign up bonuses), deposit bonuses (when you transfer funds via Neteller or Paysparks) and free cash bonuses (also known as no-deposit bonus). In this article I will explain you how this free cash casino bonus works and how to avoid getting tricked by these bonuses.

No deposit online casino bonus is not a strange generous act by an online casino operator - it's just another way to invite you being their steady client. Actually you may call it a trick, because even though casino claims that it "gives away free money", it only has to add some numbers to your gaming account. Casino has to give away money only when you win with this bonus money and wan't to withdraw, but knowing the players and the routine of gambling and slot machines, this almost never happens. I will explain why.

Most of these bonuses have onerous wagering requirements. You may not be able to withdraw your money until you have staked an amount of real money 5-8 times greater than the bonus value. Some online casinos also insist depositing in the very end. This might end up funny when you've received your free cash bonus, won big with it and when trying to cash out, you simply are not allowed to do it only because you don't have a credit card. It's rare to happen nowadays because most of the operators have strict measurements against underaged gamblers, but was still quite common 6-7 years ago.

When online casino offers no deposit bonuses, don't forget to check their payouts and find some background information about them. Sometimes there's a reason why they offer big bonuses - why not give some candy to the players, when you know it will be yours in the end of the day anyway? If they try to hide the payouts information or they use shady auditing, run as fast as you can. Online Players Association and PriceWaterHouseCoopers are reputable.

Also don't forget to read about the terms and end-user agreements and make sure you fully understand this. After accepting your bonus observe the casino and the games as if you were their steady client - would you like you play there more than this one time?; is it any better than your last casino?; are the slots paying well? If you like what you see, why not join them for real, so you could start enjoying ongoing bonuses and loyalty points from them.

Online Casino for Macs: CasinoRoom Joins

Monday, 3. April 2026, 00:24:18

I just got word that CasinoRoom is a new Mac compatible casino. They are the same people that run PokerRoom which is also a Mac compatible poker room. If you're not familiar with PokerRoom they are one of the largest online poker rooms out there. I guess the casino will be backed by them so from what I take is they are trustworthy. CasinoRoom was ok when we played there. I personally like it when the casinos give bonuses upfront like 888. The bonus was $100 but I lost my money before I got it. I usually lose at casinos. I swear everyone else wins at those things. I thought the progressives were pretty excisiting and that's probably why I lost my money. I tried to win the big bucks and the odds are pretty bad at winning them. Oh well. Heres the link to the site.
